Event details:
The Penn Township Business & Professsional Association (PTBPA) will hold its annual COSTUME PARADE on Saturday October 21 from 12:30 to 3:00 PM at the PT Warrior Stadium.
The parade is open to all residents of Penn Trafford Township and/or all students of the Penn Trafford School District. Everyone in costume will receive a treat bag courtesy of the sponsoring businesses. Cash prizes will be awarded in four categories: : Scariest, Prettiest, Best Group, and Most Original.
Registration will begin promptly at 12:30 and close promptly at 1:30. Each category will be judged separately and winners will be announced after all categories have been judged. Winners are scheduled to be announced shortly before 3:00 PM. No rain date is scheduled & the event may be cancelled or shortened without notice due to inclement weather.
As always participation and admission are FREE but cash donations to benefit Toys for Tots are greatly appreciated. The event draws a large attendance with over 450 participants expected. Even if you have no one involved, mark the date on your calendar. The PTBA ensures you will enjoy a truly delightful afternoon watching the vast array of costumed participants.
