Rebuttle to The Trafford News Letter

As a recent resident, and still very fond of Trafford, I am APPALLED at the recent flyer sent to the residents of Trafford. It is the one titled “A Nothing But The Facts Publication” The Trafford News. THIS is for the person/ persons who are responsible for the article. IF what you wrote is true, IF you actually have proof of all that you wrote, why not sign the article? Are you a coward? Have you no balls to face “Bruno and his gang” one on one? Or do you not want the residents of Trafford to know what a pathetic person you really are? Is it your sad life to sit in a room and write lies?
To begin, I know for a fact that NO ONE on the council (or as you put it Bruno’s gang) is a puppet. But then what would you really know since you stay hidden.
I could rebut every stupid paragraph you wrote but I will only comment on a few. First, the two long-time, hard-working volunteers that resigned from the Rec Board. Do you know how many people would NOT volunteer for the Rec Board BECAUSE of these two people? Bet you didn’t, because you only have their side of the story.
Second the attack on Bruno and Lisa is way out of line. Because two people of the opposite sex work together, should I assume we are all fooling around? Then you have the gall to write this when you know Bruno has two small children and a wife. You are pathetic! And for the record, if two people who are not married to each other are involved, it is none of your DAMN business or mine! As long as the work is getting done, you have NO right to assume there is anything between Bruno and Lisa. Maybe you need to get a life instead of putting your nose into other people’s business.
Third, Mr. Lindbloom - Has he given you any reason to think he has not mended his ways? What about second chances? If we checked into your early years, I wonder what we could find. But I can’t because you are a coward, and second, I don’t really care. That is in the past. LET IT GO! And to the statement about hiring a murdered for Police Chief, how immature can you be? Have you no scruples? Again, you are pathetic.
The truly sad part of this situation is the time and effort you spent to write this article. Are you that bitter? Obsessed? And consumed with the Trafford council? What has this council done to you? Could you imagine if you would have spent all this time and energy on positive issues for Trafford, what a difference you could make? You are truly a weak person/persons and one can only feel sorry for you.
You should be very happy I am not on the council. I would use every means to find out who you are and sue you for everything you are worth!!! And believe me with my background, knowledge, and contacts I could have you identified in less than a week! You know, I just might volunteer my services to “Bruno and His Gang”!!
To the other residents of Trafford, the best thing for you to do is use this article as kindling for a fire!

Is there a recent newsletter going around again? I have not seen it.
I realize that now that no words of mine can change the minds of those who critize me. But I do challenge those that critize me so much to answer me one question: What would you do different?
The reason why I ask such a thing is because I'm in a situation where the folks that post things on here make me wonder whether or not they truly have a genuine opinion or if they cling closely to someone or something that just seems significant in their life enough not to let go. Many preach open-mindedness and those that do often condemn the antithesis of such an idea, of course. It has come to my attention that those that preach the former seem to not delve into the latter in any such means of the imagination. Would you agree that to know one, you should know the other? To walk in someone else's shoes? Empathy is one thing. Apathy is another. To be straight honest with ourselves, we need to get back to the basics. The fundamentals of things. Evolution is an ideal that many liberal elistists favor for the political idealogy of fascism to truly operate. To elimate any God in favor of the state. To offer "what is best for the people" by the 'government'.
I call myself an American. I believe in true democracy. I believe in my country, a Representative Republic. I don't believe in those that choose to destroy what so many brave souls have shed blood for. I am a firm believer in the second ammendment and it's true origination. To protect the common citizens against a growing and over taking government. Our founding fathers believed in "By the People, For the People." Not "By the workers of the United Socialist States of America".
Disagree with me at your will as I know most will. But Prepare!! One day will be too late when you let your freedoms slip away so gently by your fingers.
Just a quick "essay" by a concerned American.

No, honestly I have not seen it. I received the one last year in the mail but this is the first time I'm hearing of the new one. I would like to read it as well but I also think that some of the things stated in it may be going too far. If anyone has a copy of it, please type it up into this blog so we can check it out. Thanks and keep dry - looks like thunderstorms are moving in!

You are judged by those you associate with. Even if you are innocent of this latest "news letter", you are clearly influenced by its author(s), Your recent posts are very similar to the accusations in the letter. Almost too similar. Cut the crap, Kris. You claim to be a strong supporter of democracy, well then listen to the people. Everyone is sick of this stuff. If you want to make things better, then offer a helping hand, but quit with the accusations and rumors. You, Brett, and your other friends from the Spit n Whistle are making fools of yourselves. Grow up.
I agree. These rumors are getting this borough nowhere. I hear something different every day and to be honest (even though that word that I use will mean nothing to you because you've already made up you mind) I don't like to hear worthless rumors. I'm going to lay this out for you folks... I want what is best for the people, by the people. Trafford is a wonderful town and the fact that it has become so torn apart politically is insulting to the innocent citizens of this town. I do however believe that open, honest, and intellectual debate/conversation through this medium or any other is a great way to express our ideaolgies through democracy. Freedom of speech is a wonderful gift that our forefathers fought for and many have died for us in this great Representative Republic we call the United States of America. And I may be guilty of spreading rumors...(not really sure)...but questioning governing, elected officials is our right...no...scratch that...our duty as citizens in a borough, city, county, state, and even country. Who wants to express their opinions of George W. Bush? Throw 'em out there. What's the difference?
Don't get angry because you don't like what someone says. If you do get angry by that, I have a "participation trophy" for you.

The talk around the town in Trafford recently has come to focus on a letter and a blog that I heard about here at the Trib. I did find a blog about it here on the Trib blog site. It was about a newsletter that was never posted here. The letter should be posted or it should not be a topic here. A blog should not dicuss a letter that is not here to be seen. This is just weird.
The blog talks about Bruno and what his relationship is with a woman that he works with. I have to state that I do not think anyone cares about Bruno and his relationships. I think we all care about our government. The blog also talks about forgiving the fire chief Lindbloom. What do we need to forgive him for? The blog makes no sense at all. Unlike the blogger who would not give their full name, I would like to state that my name is Brett Lloyd and I live in Trafford.
I would really like to see good conversation about the true government issues such as taxes, the spending of tax dollars, government policies, streets, environment, etc.
If someone feels that they must talk about a letter or article involving specific government officials, I wish they would have the courtesy of posting it so that we could all give our opinions and we could all know what is being talked about.
If anyone would care to talk about true issues and concerns in Trafford, please feel free to post them here and we can all mull over the facts and please leave Bruno's personal life and Lindloom's personal life out of the posts, that is not appropriate.

As you can see I have my name on here, Mr. Lloyd. I am not the most learned person in the world, but, it looks to me that you are brining personal lifes into a discussion. I know why you are doin this, you want to get the most bang for your buck, right?? You know, I been watching this, and I got a copy of the letter that you and Mr. Kris, say you know nothing about. I got the copy from my friend who lives in your town and knows people, and according to my friend, the whole town knows that you wrote the letter.
Oh yeah, my friend tells me you are a mean man and your friends are mean to, I hope you never get false things ritten about you. I got a bumper sticker on my car that sez mean people suck! My friend also tells me some people think your a "crack pot" there words, not mine. I dont know you and really don't want to. Are you trieng to tell me that you don't have anything dark or bad from your past? Sticks and stones Mr. Lloyd. I wait for someone to present this so called "newsletter". Is it real or fiction?
Are you for real Kris???? Why are you pushing so hard for someone to post that rubbish? Is it because you (and your buddy) are trying to string this thing out as long as you can? It is amazing how you and your buddy are not even whispered in that "newsletter" but everyone else is. Is it because you guys don't have the next one quite ready? C'mon Kris, everyone knows who did the last letter and if you were smart you would be stopping now before the whole town links your name to it too, as of right now around half of the town considers you kookoo, while the other half is ready to think that. Why are you trying so hard to link yourself to that,,,,let your buddy take the hit, or is it because you want the credit for that gem? I am sure that if you want to take the credit, many people would be happy to give it to you and give you the recognition that you desire.
Boy, for someone who does nothing to help the town or volunteer your time and everything to bring it down you sure do yap alot! Guess what, if you actually helped the town and volunteered your time to better the town, you actually would have people listen to you (you know actual voters) because they would see that you are trying to do good, not destroy the town and our families. We all understand why you are so bitter, your bug hotel is on its last legs, so sad. I loved the poll about the soccer. It is amazing how you are so for the town but with a chance to bring in revenue at an area that cannot be developed, you are against the town. I bet you would be the first one to accept a tax decrease or the first one to say "I live in Trafford and I was for it" if it takes off and does well along with helping the town grow.
Oh yeah, I was talking to the Guru (you know who I mean), and he was letting me in on your little secret and your "Big Hitters" getting ready to take back the town to the people. God help us ALL.

I may go out tonight for a beer if you care to join me. Anyhow, I'm not quite sure as to the reason why so many people get upity and defensive over this whole issue. I just think that if it is going to be brought up then I'm sure the people would like to see proof that the latest "newsletter" even exists. If roles were reversed you would be asking the same. Regardless if the evidence does not present itself then I feel as if the people are smart enough to form their own conclusions.
As for the soccer complex poll, I need not defend my actions for that. It was completely fair. In fact, I even put the "economic benefit" answer first. I was just curious as to see if anyone knew what was going on and if they weren't aware of the park then maybe this will spur their interest and get more involved with the community.
I'm not particulary sure where all of this anger comes from but you are more than entitled to your opinion and I definately welcome it. Let's have a beer together sometime!
I had the opportunity to get my hands on a copy of the latest "newsletter" last night. Very lengthy and not as creative as the first one, in my opinion. It was poorly written and the grammar was not very good either. I read just a short bit of the two page "newsletter" until I lost interest. To be honest, I'm all about freedom of the press and everyone is definately entitled to their own opinion but in this situation it was an all-out Frank Bruno Bash Fest. I'm not sure if this is the proper way to disagree with an elected official's policies, especially bringing in personal affairs and rumors. That's taking it a bit far. Have a nice and safe weekend folks!

Frankly, I am a tea drinker, Oolong is the best with a touch of ginger and honey. Yeah, I know your game, and I know the crew that you are friends with. We are all so glad that you had the opportunity to secure yourself a copy. We all know that you and KBL are behind it. What is the matter, did you and KBL have a tiff and he finished it so you could say that it was poorly written? You could have done a better job by yourself, right?

Wow that is plenty to be said. The content of your posting made me stop reading about 1/3 of the way through because it really wasn't the most productive peice of writing I've read recently.
Who or what is KBL? I know it was a cable station about 10 years ago that was replaced by FOX Sports Net.
Why are you so paranoid about things?
I don't recall attacking someone personally in anything that I've written, if you can find something, please let me know and I will try to justify it or apologize if I feel it was out of context or whatnot.
As for having a beer with me, believe me I have enough to worry about than to "set you up" for whatever grand conspiracy you have conjured up in your mind. I'm sure you are quite a nice person and I don't mind having a beer or even tea with just about anyone.
Finally, the newsletter was never "put aside for me" or wait I thought you said I wrote it. How was it put aside for me when you said I wrote it? Doesn't make sense. I have not lied about anything I say on here and believe it or not, I do wish people a good weekend, etc.
If we are just going to play silly conspiracy theory games then you can play alone. Otherwise if you feel like engaging in a sane conversation about reality (and I can't wait to hear your response to this one) then I am all for it.

Yes, I was just recently re-elected to my second term as the Trafford representative to the Westmoreland County Republican Committee. I have been an active member of the local Republican party since 2004 but was elected to rep in 2006.
I understand the concept of trying to have and keep a great community. It is important that it not get run-down and crime rates stay low. But by enforcing more stict rules and regulations along with a eugenics sense of mind is not the right way to go. I understand the ambitions and intent of the soccer complex as a means to attract business here and to encourage the entrepreneurial spirit to increase economic activity in the borough. I hope that bed and breakfasts and tea shops will enable our citizens to pay less taxes. I'm not sure how much of a risk a business is willing to take in opening up shop in a town with a lingering threat of eminent domain.
People are quick to form conclusions because they are clouded with bias. They see that I am willing to question government that has the same party letter behind it or maybe it was someone they graduated high school with. I still pose this question: Who is there to stop them from taking over any place they want to or to do whatever they want? Where are the checks and balances? I know this democratic ideology may be frightening to many. I realize someone is going to take it out of context again as was predicted with the "fascist" statement.
To the current council and organizers: Great job on the Memorial Day Parade. It was an excellent way to remember those who died for our country. Thank you.

You have the audacity to ask “why all the anger?” You seriously don’t understand all the anger, do you? You really and truly don’t understand this small town and the people who live here. The town (or the ‘people’, as you put it) are upset, and rightly so, because good and decent people are having their personal lives projected before them with such blatant lies for absolutely no reason. It is somewhat bothersome to see you wanting this horrible flyer reproduced on the web as if you desire to keep it going. No one will post it because the remaining copies are either in the hands of the authorities, or in the garbage. You can deny the flyer without much difficulty because it is difficult to prove who did it. You are, however, hard pressed to deny that you have taken the liberty (your right, as you say) of some personal attacks against these officials in your posts that are pre-flyer and match exactly to the flyer contents.
In case you are still having amnesia, let me remind you of your recent comments: ‘The way the council members and their families are buying up property, what’s next ’ and my personal favorite: ‘it’s difficult to disagree with officials who are wildly out of control and have lost any bit of moral fiber’… This is not the same as you posting that you are against eminent domain and code enforcement… those are legitimate conjectures to government action. I am against eminent domain as well, but for you to attack people’s desire to buy personal property, and present it like they have done something wrong is not right. Just because you have the right to criticize, doesn’t mean you always should… The Bruno name goes back many years in town… probably as far as Cardiff. I doubt your family would want to read rubbish on you any more than the governing official's families wants to read your trash talk. I agree that Bruno’s methods are crude and somewhat harsh, but it is hard to argue with his positive results for the community. If I want to do a bio on how people with "no life" get off on bashing others on the web, I will call you, but if I need someone creative enough to deliver positive property values in a dry housing market, I, for one, am sticking with “Bruno and gang”. In your defense, Kris, you seem like a person who does care about the town, but that small gesture in itself is drowned out quickly by your ignorance to the damage that you are doing to this small town and the reputations of good people who live in it and devote so much of themselves to it. I suppose I need to respond to this as well. I never wrote anything "bashing" Bruno for the election. All that I wrote was a basic bio page for public use. You may contact the Westmoreland county election board to verify that I had nothing to do with any illegal activity regarding that information.
Also...(sigh)...again, the only reason why I wanted it posted on here was so that I and others could have the opportunity to review it. After reading a hard copy that was given to me last week, I agree with your reasons on why it shouldn't be on here. AGAIN, it was over the top and unnecessarily cruel and personal towards Bruno "and his gang" or whatever it is.

"‘it’s difficult to disagree with officials who are wildly out of control and have lost any bit of moral fiber’" was said due to council quotations on how they needed to have a unanimous vote of council for the better of the community. I believe it's immoral to have absolute control and to banish those who have opposing opinions. "Whats good for the people" is often a statement used by fascists. Don't take this out of context, I am not calling anyone a fascist (but I'm sure I will be called one here soon).
I do appreciate your kind words. I suppose I will quit now for I know that my voice doesn't matter and that the all powerful should always go unquestioned. God bless you for opening my eyes to this wonderful new utopia!
Just joking. Anyhow, I agree about personal attacks but question the actions of government is a responsibility of the people.
